Attendance
Requirements

Gargi College strictly follows the ordinance laid down by the University
of Delhi on attendance requirement as
prerequisite for taking the annual examination. No concession will
be granted to anyone on any grounds. Hence
admission seekers and their guardians are requested to please make
of a note of this. The University ordinance is as follows :

- All classes
will commence on 16th July 2006.
- Attendance
will be marked from the above mentioned date.
- Compulsory
Attendance of 66.6% is required in all Hons./Subs./Practicals/Tutorials
as per rules laid down by the University of Delhi. Those who fail
to secure the mandatory attendance will be DETAINED in the Final
Examination.
- You are not
allowed to join any course/job during college hours.
- Name of the
students who are short of attendance will be displayed on the
college notice- board at the beginning of the second and third
terms and at the end of the third term. Individual letters will
not be sent.
- Medical Certificate/Reports
with the prescribed medical leave application form (available
in the college office) should be submitted within a week of rejoining
college after illness, duly signed by all the subject teachers.
Certificates submitted late will not be accepted
