    BSc Botany (Hons) course encompasses all the basic disciplines of Life Sciences with additional emphasis on Plant Sciences. This course has been revised and updated in the year 2004. It offers a building up of sound foundation in basic discipline of Biology and covers the recent developments in these areas. It prepares the undergraduate students to undertake admission in various advance postgraduate courses such as Botany, Biosciences, Biomedical Science, Life Science, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Toxicology, Bio- informatics and other related courses from various reputed Universities like Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Indian Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, Jamia Hamdard University, Jamia Milia Islamia University and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and many others.
