"MyDiary" 2007 took a modern look at "Revolutions" that scripted the society we live in today. "MyDiary" 2008 takes this thought further and dwells into the realm of the varied connotations of the concept of "Turbulences" as applicable to us in the 21st century. "MyDiary" 2007 looked into the impact of revolutions on the human mind when the multi-dimensional post-revolution rehabilitation was not planned for, especially at the psychological level. Due to this shortcoming, revolutions led to several turbulences - both in nature and in the human mind - positively and negatively affecting our society. "MyDiary" 2008 endeavors to look into the "turbulent" mind and its turbulences, which have been responsible for several social upheavals and disturbed natures and human equilibrium.
"Turbulence", whether in nature or in human mind, is normally understood to have negative connotations and brings to mind an image of turmoil, chaos, and conflicts. But this is not always true. A Great Turbulence or the Big Bang, to which the genesis of the universe is attributed, is the very reason of our existence. When the turbulences in nature remain in balance they have a positive impact on our existence, but when this balance is shifted, the nature's turbulences can lead to mass destruction as seen in the case of major earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. Similarly, turbulences in the human mind have positively and negatively impacted our society. Computers and the World Wide Web (WWW) are the creation of a turbulent mind at its creative best and has played a major role in sculpturing the growth and development of society in the 21st century. On the other hand, 9/11 is the act of a group of turbulent minds at the peak of negativity, which has left a negative impact on the psyche of the complete human race, irrespective of caste, color, or creed. Similarly, the recent assassination of Benazir Bhutto is a strong reminder of the growing power of negative forces, which want to derail the positive processes in our society. This negativity has the potential to multiply into several negative minds, if the people directly or indirectly affected by these turbulences are not effectively rehabilitated at the psychological, physical, and social level. Negative turbulences in nature are a result of the imbalances created by human race for short term benefits; negative turbulences in the human mind are a result of the imbalances created by social injustices and upheavals and the lack of rehabilitative processes addressing psychological, physical, and social dimensions, leading to incomplete personalities. Negativity breeds negativity and to save our society from this multiplying negativity, it is essential that the first signs of negativity are nipped in the bud.
This is possible only when the feelings of repression, discontentment, and helplessness arising out of natural and man-created disasters are addressed through the process of "Ultimate Rehabilitation" - Rehabilitation addressing the psychological, physical, and social dimensions of the human framework through its interoperability layers.
"MyDiary" 2008 tries to draw your attention to the various "turbulences" that mankind has faced in the recent past and continues to face -- natural and those brought about by man, positive and negative, and discusses the human dimensions and its interoperability layers to derive a comprehensive system for addressing these turbulences. It addresses the importance of "Ultimate Rehabilitation" in order to encourage positive turbulences and curb negative turbulences in an individual and in the society as a whole. It is only through the process of "Ultimate Rehabilitation" that every turbulent mind can be channelized towards positivity and be convinced to make positive contribution towards the sustenance and growth of the society. Society is what its inhabitants are and even one negative mind can create havoc, create a living hell, and destroy the society. Hence, effort to make every individual into a "Complete Personality" through effective rehabilitative processes is the call of the day. It is indeed a mammoth task but a beginning has to be made. MGRM has made a humble beginning in this direction.
As we stand to welcome the New Year, it is important that we look back at the years gone by and think of what was done well and what could have been done better. Let us learn from our mistakes and ignite the spirit of positivity within us. Together, let us strive to make this world a better place to live in.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
MAY GOD REHABILITATE MANKIND
