This little fable explains it the best.

A young student set out on a long and difficult journey to obtain true knowledge, enlightenment and education. He visits his teacher for blessings and tells the teacher of his purpose. The student has only one question – "What is the biggest obstacle to ultimate knowledge and realization?"

The teacher's reply is simple, "The only obstacle to one's realization is oneself. Overcome that and you will realize the truth!"

However, realizing one's own self requires much more and scientific information; realizing one's own strength and weaknesses - how one thinks, acts, behaves, leads and socializes? What blocks one's energy? It is all about learning about oneself.
